# INSPECTOR

Israel's leading platform for infrastructure project control

**Infrastructure projects run on drawings. So does Inspector.**
Upload the design files → get the quantities → run the field → check every payment application against the design.

Software your team runs, or engineering control our engineers deliver. Used on light rail, road, water and sewer projects across Israel.

- Five steps to running a project

## How Inspector works

 🔑

 01

### Sign up

You join through a personal email invitation. Click the link, fill in a few details and you are in. No long forms and no waiting.

 📂

 02

### Upload AutoCAD

Upload AutoCAD files straight into the system. Inspector converts them into a live map in the cloud. Nothing to install, it all happens online.

 🗺

 03

### Work on the map

Your drawings become an interactive map with clean layers. Turn layers on and off, change colours, and measure distances and areas.

 📌

 04

### Record and manage

Create tasks straight from the map, pin them to an exact location, attach photos or voice notes from the field, and follow the work as it progresses. The whole team sees the same picture in real time.

 📊

 05

### Stay in control

The management area shows every task and every file, filtered by status, date or subject. Reports come out ready to submit.

## Quantity takeoff in Inspector

- When a drawing is uploaded, Inspector converts it to GIS, breaks it down into quantities and shows them on the map. It then ties those quantities to the execution details and the price list and produces a digital bill of quantities you can trace line by line.

- Quantity takeoff before tender, to check the designers' work.
- Quantity takeoff for a contractor after award, for an accurate cost breakdown.
- Quantity takeoff for the move to a lump-sum contract.
- Quantity takeoff for the final account.
- Checking contractor and subcontractor payment applications.
- Preparing interim or final accounts.

From sign-up to reports, everything in one system.

### Engineering services alongside the platform

Alongside the technology, Inspector's engineers deliver quantity takeoff and quantity control against the design at every stage of a project: split by phase and work area, with design alternatives priced, and with ongoing support shaped around what the client needs.

#### Quantity takeoff and control

The client gets an accurate bill of quantities based on the design, on a display that shows where every quantity was measured and where it sits in the BoQ. That means a real understanding of the design and the quantities, and far fewer disputes over the life of the project.

- **Tender control:** comparing the designers' bill of quantities against the DWG design files to find what is missing or over-measured, and producing accurate comparison tables before tender or when reviewing alternatives and design updates.
- **Preparing or checking a bill of quantities:** straight from the design or as-built files (DWG). Used to check contract scope against the design received, to prepare a final account, or to move to a lump-sum contract.

#### Ongoing support

Full control and design management for the life of the project, from design through to handover.

- **Managing design updates:** handling every design revision on the project, with full documentation in the system and a check of what it does to the budget.
- **Ongoing control:** checking the contractor's and subcontractors' monthly payment applications against as-built files or agreed rules, showing the gaps and recommending how to settle quantity and pricing disputes.
- **Collector support:** finding your way around the current drawings in the field, location-based task management, report generation and progress documentation.

#### Handover to the client

 Support through the handover process.

- A checklist built for the type of work and the elements that need checking, to the client's requirements.
- Support through handover, with defect and completion reports tied to a location or an element.
