About Inspector

Inspector is an Israeli software company. We build the system that infrastructure projects run on, from the design files through to the final account, and we run quantity control as a service on top of it.

One set of facts for every party

What we do

Our starting point is that the drawings already hold the answer. A road, a sewer line or a water main is fully described in the design files long before anyone measures anything on site. Inspector reads those files, applies one standard legend across all of them so every team is working to the same language, and derives the quantities straight from the geometry.

From there the same data drives the field tasks, the progress reports, the payment applications and the budget. Discrepancies between design and execution show up early, while they are still cheap to fix, and arguments over quantities get settled against a source both sides can open and look at.

What we are after

Infrastructure projects lose money in the gap between what was designed, what was built and what was paid for. On the projects we check, the difference between the designers’ bill of quantities and the design files is routinely large enough to matter, and today it is found by people re-measuring drawings by hand, if it is found at all.

What we are working towards is simple to state: every quantity on a project should be traceable back to the line in the drawing it came from, automatically, at any point in the project’s life. That is what makes a payment application checkable, a lump-sum conversion defensible, and a final account something both sides can agree on.

Frequently asked questions

How do we get in touch?

Email office@inspectorprojects.com, or use the form at the bottom of any page on this site. We answer from Israel, UTC+2 or UTC+3 depending on the season.

Yes. The interface, the reports and our support are available in English, and the platform works to whatever price list and bill of quantities structure the contract uses.

Both, and you can take either. The platform is a SaaS subscription your own team runs. Alongside it our engineers deliver quantity takeoff and quantity control as a service, on projects where the client would rather hand over the whole job.

Usually with one real project. You send a set of drawings and a bill of quantities, we run them through the system, and you see the gaps on your own material rather than on a demo. From there it is either a subscription or a scoped piece of control work.
